With Kolvin getting here and all that has been going on I have not had a chance to post Emma's birthday. Emma turned 5 on May 17th. She had cake and ice cream with all of her cousins and played in the water. I am so greatful to have Emma. She is such a blessing in our lifes. She is fun loving and very caring little girl. We just enjoy every minute we have with her. Love you Emma...Happy birthday.

Picture Day

So my BFF (that sounds funny to me:) Anndee got a fancy new camera for the fun of it a little while ago and so she came over yesterday to play with it while she took pictures of my kids. Kolvin was not feeling it so we didn't any really great ones of him, but Emma was another story. She bossed Anndee around the whole time saying "Now take one here, Take one of me doing this" over and over and over again. It was really fun!

We thought this picture was kinda funny...he is looking at his name like he is not sure he likes it

Here is Emma being a Diva

I have the cutest kids!!!

A few pics....more are coming

After I posted my last posted I poked around and look at everyones blogs since I haven't been on in a while and a found that my friend Cortney had posted pictures of Kolvin that Daniel had sent her, so I stole them so you can see him until I am able to get some more.

He is Here!!!

Just thought I would let you all know that Kolvin is finally here. He was born on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 10:05pm. he was 4.15 pounds and 17.5 inches. He was 3 weeks and 4 days early. He is doing great. He and I came home together on on Thursday night. I went in to the doctor tuesday evening to have my stitch removed. When this was done we found that I was already dialated to a 4+ so she wouldn't send me home. I pushed through two contrations and he was here. Most people are surprised to here that he was able to come home being under 5 pounds, but we say he is a healthy normal baby just in a little tiny body. I will try and get some pictures posted soon, but my camera is being funny and won't pull them up right now. Thanks to everybody for your prayers we know it played at great part in getting him here, safe and healthy.

Scare Update

Just a little update on my previous blog....I went to the doctor on Wednesday and everything is still great. Kolvin is growing rapidly. He has a big head, big feet, and very long legs my doctor says. If you ask Bracken he will becoming out with mesh basketball shorts on like his dad:) I might be the first to break the family wrestling tradition...sorry!

Little scare....Thanks goodness no big deal!

On saturday night Daniel and I were down in Salt Lake, when I noticed that I had started spotting a little. Ofcourse I feaked out and called my doctor (which is what I am suppose to do:) and she happened to be out of town, but the on call doctor told me that I needed to come in. So we head back to Ogden. On the way ofcourse we thought of all the worest possible reasons why this was happening. After they checked us in the took us to a room (It happen to be the room right next door to where I had lived for a month and a half, an it all felt alittle too familar) My parents met us there and Daniel and my dad gave me a blessing (I am so greatful to have the priesthood in my home) They ran some tests and found out that all that was wrong is that I have a bladder infection, which is funny because I just had Emma in the ER last weekend for the same thing, but they promised it is not contagious:) They sent us home and that was it. I do have an appointment with my doctor this week just to double check everything but, otherwise we are still doing great! They will take my stitch out in about seven weeks. My doctor expects me to have Kolvin at that time but if not they will induce me two weeks later, so I am on the count down nine more weeks tops! I can't believe it!

Newest Edition to Our Family

Those of you who know my husband really well know what an animal lover he is. A year and a half ago he brought home our Chihuahua, Chrisma. Then a couple of days ago he added another edition to our family, Tayder. Emma just loves, loves, loves the puppies and I have to say they have grown on me too.

San Fran!

I am a little late getting this posted but I had so much fun that I still wanted to. Back on the first of Feb. my friend Amber and I went to San Fran. for a conference for school. The school paid for EVERYTHING, so we both got a much needed vacation. Our principal kept joking about how we needed to stay out of trouble and we kept reminding her that we didn't think two pregnant ladies could get in that much trouble:) We went for 4 days and had a great time mainly vacationing...we did manage to make it to a little bit of the conference too:)

We made it!

I was put in as the beehive advisor about a month ago, and last week I was teaching a lesson on womenhood and finding joy in your divine potential. I bawled through my whole lesson. I don't know if the girls could even understand me. I was so emotional. When my lesson was over I was talking to the other older women and the bishop that had sat in on the lesson about how i couldn't believe what an emotional mess I was and then it hit me. This is the start to the last week of my pregancy with Abbe. Well of course I was going to be emotional. I did really good for the next couple of days and Daniel being the great husband that he is was a huge help. Tuesday was the day in my current pregnancy that I lost Abbe. We stayed home together as a family all night and just spent time together which we don't get to do very off and we made it through! I am now passed the point when I lost Abbe. I am not in the hospital :) I am not having a single complication! Kolvin is already 5oz bigger than Abbe was when I lost her and is moving around like crazy! Most important I feel great, the baby is great, and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you for all your prayers on our little families behalf. We know that they have been a great help in getting us this far and will continue to help us as we push along for the next three and a half months:)

It's a BOY!!!

I didn't want to get my hopes up because everybody is having boys lately. I knew for sure I would be the one to break the chain, but I am proud to say I am not and Daniel is getting himself a little boy. I went to the doctor on wednesday and everything is looking great and NORMAL! I also started my shots in my hip that are suppose to help my body to not reject the baby. I have to go in once a week to have these shots givin to me. And of course while I was there she asked if I wanted to know what we were having. I proably should have said no because Daniel wasn't with me due to the fact he had to work, but I couldn't wait any longer. My friend Cortney had come down earlier to hang out with me so we had gone and gotten some cute boy and girl outfits. I deceided to give daniel a gift full of baby items related to the sex of the baby. After my appointment Cortney and I went to dinner and then I rushed home to tell Daniel the news. He had already call and texted me four times wanting to know. I went straight to his work and when I gave him the gift and he opened it he couldn't stop smiling and saying "are you serious, is this for real, am I really going to have a boy" It was great to see how excited he was. When I told Emma she was going to have a brother the first thing she asked was "Is he coming right now?" Then she said that it would be fun to have a brother. Later she got a little sad when she told grandma that she wouldn't get to share her room with the baby, but grandma (hardy) told her that she probably still would get to since we live in such a tiny house:) We will see. Anyways we are very excited and counting our blessing everyday as things continue to go smoothly. Thanks for all your prayers!

So back in about June, Daniel and I were home cooking when the oil started on fire and got out of control burning our cabinet doors, ceiling, and sending black smoke through most of the house. Well its about time but we finally got the kitchen back to normal and its great! Since I am not suppose to be painting I monitored from other rooms in our house, while Daniel, Anndee, Mom, Dad and even Emma did all the work. Thanks guys your great!!
